Hospital Bag Anxiety Round 2 - What's *Actually* Necessary?

Okay friends, can I get some perspective here?

I’m pregnant with our second and starting to think about packing a hospital bag, and my anxiety is already kicking in. I remember with my first, Asher, I packed SO much stuff based on all those online checklists. We barely used any of it and it just felt so excessive. This time I want to be a lot more intentional and minimalist, but I’m worried about forgetting something actually important.

My partner and I are really trying to be conscious about not buying a ton of stuff we dont need. It feels like so much pressure. For those of you who have done this more than once, what did you realize was completely unnecessary? And what were the things you were so glad you had, especially for comfort during labor or those first tough postpartum hours?

Just looking for some real-world advice to help me cut through the noise. Thanks for any insight!
